HWTT presented the Sankar family
with a significant contribution that
assisted the family with the surgery
expenses, they incurred in March
2005. The surgery was a success and
the child is recuperating. Another
proud moment for all HWTT members
had been added to our memories of
social work.

With the proceeds from the Peru
event, HWTT donated during the first
quarter of 2005 Vital Signs Monitor
Units plus equipments that have been
required by the San Fernando
Neo-Natal Unit and also the Port of
Spain General Hospital.

From the proceeds
of the Event Bailamos, HWTT
donated a cheque with the amount
of 120.000 TT to the
Missionaries of Charity founded
by Mother Teresa of Calcuta, to
support them, with their
construction of an extension to
there existing building in
Laventile, to accommodate more
abandoned retarded children and
the sick and old ladies.

With the proceeds from the orchestra
event, HWTT donated on May 26th
2004, two Vital Signs Monitor Units
plus accessories, six month supply
of consumables and an air
conditioner to the Port of Spain
General Hospital Neo-Natal Unit.

In the month of July 2004 HWTT with
the support of Dominican Republic
Embassy and BWIA Airlines, sent 560
tons of goods to the homeless people
of JIMANI, in conjunction with the
Foundation South Future of the
Island.

In
September of 2003, HWTT donated
1,053 new books written in Spanish
to the NALIS children’s section as a
result of the organization’s efforts
and the support of the Interamerican
Development Bank.
